Biden plans to pursue a "tax increase", by which of course he means income tax.
The public perceives there to be two flavors of income tax; individual and corporate. In reality that's nonsense because corporations simply pass along their higher tax burden to the consumer. In other words, the propaganda that Congress might only "raises taxes on corporations because they can afford it" is a scam. It is STILL a tax on YOU! It merely targets you indirectly rather than directly.
A perfect recent example of this is when Trump violated his Oath of Office in order to unilaterally imposes tariffs on China (and others). Those tariffs were passed along to U.S. consumers resulting in the single largest tax increase in U.S. history; more than $1,100 per household per year.
