Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, has announced the state of Texas is open up: 100 percent.

Including the mask mandates.

However, he is leaving it up to the counties, cities, and individual businesses which will open up another step in returning back to normal, but these entities will no longer have the state backing them up.

when I had a real 35mm camera, back in the 70's, I loved taking black and white photo's. I learned many different was to take great pictures. I think the black and white format is a great way to see more of the structure of the object. to bad they are not around anymore

Black and white portraiture is my favorite for sure! I started with film back in the early 90s and fell in love with photography almost instantly. I agree that there is so much more revealed when a scene is in b+w. This was a just a shot taken on my cell phone lol

Interesting that New Mexico, Texas, and Arkansas, and Louisiana have all had an uptick in new daily infections in the aftermath of the Fed 13 thru 16 storm.

I attribute that to an alteration of personal behavior by the populace of those states. When the extreme cold struck basically everyone stayed inside. Being southern (warmer) states, people normally don’t stay indoors continuously for days in mid-February. The extreme cold altered normal behavior patterns.

The more people are compacted into closed sealed spaces in which they ordinarily would not stay for days, the more the virus spreads.

Now that the weather has returned to normal, and thus personal behavior has returned to normal, new daily infections will return to their previous downward trend.
