4 Reasons You Can Be Confident That The NT Canon Was Not Chosen At The Council Of Nicea In 325AD:
The Council of Nicea had nothing to do with the formation of the New Testament canon (nor did Constantine).
Nicea was concerned with how Christians should articulate their beliefs about the divinity of Jesus. Thus it was the birthplace of the Nicean creed.

Here is a tip: The "News Feed" has a drop down arrow. It will let you choose between viewing only those people/pages/groups that you follow or ALL public-facing posts. Remember to set your privacy settings per post. Private group posts won't display in the SHOW ALL posts feed, but public groups will have their posts displayed. I will probably prevent that at my first available opportunity, but I'm not there yet.

With a straight face, a person will say: "Who are you to say what truth is? What is true for you may not be true for me."
You can see how such a confused mindset would undermine evangelism.
The Bible teaches that Jesus is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" and that there is no way to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Be very careful to note that it doesn't say that this proposition is true for some people and not for others or that it is only true for those who want to believe it.
That statement is either absolutely true in reality or not, but its truth does not depend on whether we believe it or we don't believe it.
But there can be no question that this kind of fuzzy thinking presents enormous hurdles for the evangelist who is seeking to spread the good news.
If he is approaching someone who doesn't even accept the idea of truth, it is obviously going to be more difficult to convince that person of the gravity of the matters under discussion.
In short, this type of postmodern thinking has led to intellectual and moral chaos that has undermined our society and our efforts to communicate the Gospel's message. —David Limbaugh (from, Beware of the Perfect Storm)

You should read your Bible.
That’s axiomatic for Christians, and I’d dispense that piece of advice to anyone.
But reading the Bible is not where our engagement with the Bible ends. It’s where it begins.
You need to go beyond reading the Bible to a serious study of the Bible.
The first step is to realize there’s a significant difference between reading and studying.
Reading is casual, something done for pleasure. The motivation is personal gratification or enrichment, not mastery of the content. Bible reading has as its aim private delight or personal application for our lives and relationship with God. Bible reading is inherently devotional and low maintenance.
Bible study, on the other hand, involves concentration and exertion. We have an intuitive sense that the study requires some sort of method or technique and probably certain types of tools or aids.
