This passage came to me in two separate studies today.
Matthew 8:23-27
23Â And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24Â And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25Â And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26Â And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27Â But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
In the midst of all the uncertainty and dismay may we never forget who truly holds our future.
This is my Father's world.
O let me ne'er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet.
This is my Father's world, why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King, let the heavens ring!
God reigns, let the earth be glad!
