Since returning to acrylics and oils from my self-imposed exile into water colors I have spent a lot of time on landscapes. This has been (mostly) to relearn tactics and techniques and rediscover my own style. I suppose I write this to explain how important skies have become to my work in the past couple of years.
Further, I really don’t care if I ever sell a piece or if my kids end up with a storage locker full of paintings. However, I will have my first exhibition next January in Green Lake, WI. Details to follow.
This is the second piece I did from this same location. It is the scene from my in-law’s condo overlooking the Waushara Country Club in Wautoma. I can’t recall the sizes, but its an acrylic on canvas.
Coup in Myanmar.
