It is fascinating to read about the rapid growth of Christianity in first century. Nothing could stop the newly formed community (church) from sharing the gospel not even persecution. The emperor Nero who blamed the "Christians" for the fire in Rome in 64 AD had followers arrested and convicted of hatred of the human race. He then put them to death by crucifixion, being torn apart by dogs or set afire to serve as human torches for his night time spectacles. The magistrate Pliny arrested Christ followers and gave them three chances to renounce their faith before they were executed. To which many refused to commit apostasy. Let's not forget about an emperor some deemed worse than Nero Marcus Aurelius. He was responsible for the execution of Justin. All this and Christianity grew exponentially. Some scholars believe that there were 7 to 10 thousand followers by 100 AD, and about 200,000 in 200 AD and by 300 AD. All this in the face of severe persecution. Nothing could stop the church and the gospel.
Fast forward to the year 2020 and a virus with a 99.97% survival rate stops the church and "Christians" from sharing the gospel. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE CHURCH. We are to be fearless and we are fearful of our own mortality.

Block a Person or Add them to a family group

Add a Family:
You can add people in your family or you call family in your "circle" OR
Block someone
Inevitable, you're going to want to block a person.
To do either, go to that person's profile on Cornertable and select the three dots and it will pull up a menu:
Later you can go to your settings, by selecting your profile photo on the upper right wall and it will pull down a selection and one of them will be blocked people.

Differences between profile, groups, and pages.

Think of CornerTable's framework being similar to FB.

Profile

A profile is a place on CornerTable, like on FB, where you can share information about yourself, such as your interests, photos, videos, current city, and hometown. To see your profile, click or tap your name or profile picture at the top.

Pages

You must have a profile to create a Page or help manage one.
Your profile won't show up on the Page.
Like on Facebook, Pages are places on CornerTable that can connect with their fans or customers. When someone likes or follows a Page on CornerTable, they can start seeing updates from that Page in their News Feed.

Groups

You must have a profile to create a group or help manage one. Groups are a place to communicate about shared interests with certain people. You can create a group for anything — your family reunion, your after-work sports team, your book club — and customize the group's privacy settings depending on who you want to be able to join and see the group. When you join a group on CornerTable, you starting seeing content from that group in your News Feed.

In the Groups, you can set it to public or private (meaning only members of the groups will see the posts)

Controlling the Newsfeed:

If you only want to see the pages, groups, and people you follow, go to the Newsfeed, click on the arrow, and you control what YOU see.
Otherwise, if you keep the newsfeed setting to "all", you'll see ALL the public posts from profiles, all the pages, and groups.

The advantage of the "all" setting is you can find out what the new pages publishing content is sharing, and what everyone and their friend is posting.
