Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah was a priest in the territory of Benjamin. And God chose him to be a prophet to Israel and other countries.
In Jeremiah 1:4-10 (CEV), it is recorded what God said to him:
"4 The Lord said:
5 “Jeremiah, I am your Creator,
and before you were born,
I chose you to speak for me
to the nations.”
6 I replied, “I’m not a good speaker, Lord, and I’m too young.”
7 “Don’t say you’re too young,” the Lord answered. “If I tell you to go and speak to someone, then go! And when I tell you what to say, don’t leave out a word! 8 I promise to be with you and keep you safe, so don’t be afraid.”
9 The Lord reached out his hand, then he touched my mouth and said, “I am giving you the words to say, 10 and I am sending you with authority to speak to the nations for me. You will tell them of doom and destruction, and of rising and rebuilding again.”
When God chose Moses as the one to lead the Jews out of Egypt, Moses complained about the burden of speaking. So God gave Moses Aaron as a spokesperson! No such luck for Jeremiah!!
Are you reluctant to speak out for God? So were some of the people God chose as prophets! We're not prophets like Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel - but God promises to be with us when we give witness to all He has done! Rest comfortably in His arms!!

Why? Because neither "Catholic" or "Protestant" existed during Paul's life on the earth. I think Paul might have subscribed to the view that all believers were part of the same body of Christ - the "church" universal and hence, "catholic". But the "CATHOLIC CHURCH" had/has little to do with Paul, Paul's ministry, Paul's doctrine or living a life similar to Paul's.
Why? Because neither "Catholic" or "Protestant" existed during Paul's life on the earth.
