#24 - Aaron, the Earthly High Priest of the Lord

This tells of the life of Aaron using only details that are given in the Bible. Includes his family background from the time when he was 3 years old his brother Moses was born up through his part in the Exodus and the time in the Wilderness -- including the golden calf incident. Aimed at children 4-10 years old, though adults may also enjoy it. Of course, the Gospel is included.

DO YOU HAVE FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD?

Welcome to Friendship with God, an exciting new radio program hosted by Tom Cantor.

God doesn't command His children to tolerate others. Tolerance is too low of a standard. He commands them to love others, and love rejoices with the truth (1 Cor. 13:6).

Sorry— no good picture of this one.... This applies golden section rectangles, overlapping on a single scene from our area here in central Wisconsin. Within all seasons are represented as well as some of the sub-seasons we experience here. 20” x 40-something”, framed in oak with purpleheart accents.

When I was little I can remember trying to keep my steps aligned with my dad when we would go somewhere. His steps were much bigger than mine, but my short little legs worked hard to keep up. I learned his rhythm & tried to predict his next step. I had to walk very close to him to do this. The better I knew my dads steps the better I was at keeping in step with him.

In order for us to grow in our knowledge & understanding of Christ, we must keep in step with the Spirit.

What does this look like?
✝️Creating daily habits of prayer & Bible study.
✝️ Practicing a pause before speaking, acting, deciding. Give the Spirit a quiet heart to speak to.
✝️ Know & memorize the Word of God. So often we fall out of step with the Spirit because we do not know the Word well enough.
✝️ Worship. Worship in song, in prayer, throughout your day. Worship is our best weapon against distractions that draw us away from the Spirit.

May we be intentional in our walk with the Spirit and keep in close step with him.

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.”
