wandered over to FB. saw a bunch of posts, people confused about why things are happening the way they are. started to type... then stopped. I could tell them, but they wouldn't believe me anyway. And if they would believe me, they wouldn't be asking the question.
I see a lot of people who know exactly what is going on. We may all have different entry points into things and from that point of view could learn from each other, but the fundamentals are known.
The people who are surprised are surprised precisely because they refuse to recognize the chaos around them is in fact orchestrated and furthermore wouldn't dream of doing any independent reading and research to try to get to the bottom of things.
I guess I should just be happy they are even surprised. But I can't bring myself to expend the energy to explain things to people who wouldn't believe me until they saw it on CNN. And on the day they would believe me, they no longer need me.
Thought for Wednesday, 08/16: "For we both alike know that into the discussion of human affairs the question of justice enters only where the pressure of necessity is equal, and that the powerful exact when they can, and the weak grant what they must." ~Thucydides
I have a new VIDEO up!!! “How the Bible Is Put Together” - Structure of the Bible
On YouTube: On Sermonaudio:
This half hour video teaches children how the Bible is put together. By being familiar with its structure and sections, they can find things in the Bible more easily. It even has a catchy little song to help them remember. Of course, it also includes the Gospel.
The PDF has the text, the sheet music for the song, and a copy of the completed chart.
For children 4 to 10 years of age, though adults have also enjoyed my audios. (By the way, the man who filmed this and got it ready to put up said it even helped him and his wife!)
This was inspired and developed from Walter C. Kaiser, Jr.'s analysis of the structure of the Bible in "Recovering the Unity of the Bible" and also from J. Sidlow Baxter's "The Strategic Grasp of the Bible".
All my Bible audios for children are available for free with their free pdfs at: And the audios are also available on many sites podcast sites (for list below) including: iTunes -

I have 7 children, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. I’ve taught women’s or children’s Sunday School classes for over 25 years. Originally I compiled my Bible audios for my young grandson, aiming them at children 4-10 years old (though many adults have told me that they’ve also enjoyed them and learned from them). The purpose of my audios is several fold: (1) To teach the Bible stories to children, (2) to do this in order, teaching that there is a continuity to them, that they aren’t just disconnected “bedtime stories”, (3) to show the faithfulness of God and how He keeps His promises and fulfills His prophecies, and (4) to tie in to the Gospel in each audio with reasons to believe (apologetics). Controversy is carefully avoided. I have over 80 Bible audios and DVDs for children on Sermonaudio.com where they are free for downloading. (Just type in my unusual first name [Joelee] or "children's Bible audios" when you get there!)
All of my “Children’s Bible Audios - Stories for Kids” are available on the following sites (listed alphabetically): Acast: Amazon music: Bluebrry: Cast Box: Digital Podcast: Google Podcasts: iHeart radio: iTunes: JioSaavn: Listen notes: Pandora: Pocket casts: Podbean: Podcast Addict: Podchaser: Sermonaudio (listed in order & with PDFs): Spotify: Stitcher: Tunein: “Bible stories for kids and apologetics for kids, each connected to the Gospel for kids”

It’s not really unlike someone who plays with matches and then questions why everything is burning down around them. And the worst part is they may move to other places to do it all over again, because if they can’t/won’t identify the cause they have no reason to do anything differently.
