This morning I called the nursing home to get an update on my MIL who is in quarantine with COVID. She's doing great, thankfully. I asked the lady I spoke with on the phone if they knew how this last "party of positive cases" happened. She said they can't figure it out, it just keeps popping up. I've been in the building twice since the "Pandemic" happened. I've seen how "masked up" everyone is. You can't go inside without being screened & have a negative C19 test result. Then they put you in all of the PPE. They wear gloves when they are in contact with patients. According to all the safety measures they are taking no one should have the virus, but they do.

Hello everyone, I'm your host, the creator of this site. I have been strongly urging people to keep their personal profiles dedicated to more personal topics and take the heavy stuff to groups, pages, or the forum. This isn't just because of the privacy options. It is also because of my belief that one of the reasons that social media is toxic is because politics etc inserts itself into every conversation and every context. Now, in real life (face to face), we know when it is appropriate to do such things, and so very often we don't... which is why in real life most of us get along.
