Churches have obeyed state and federal mandates to shut down during the virus. Question, are they obeying God or men? The apostles and early Christians faced persecution and death but did not stop. We have stopped because of virus with a high probability of survival.
And the high priest questioned them, 28 saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man's blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:27b-29, ESV).
