Laughing is good. Here's 2020 in a nutshell:
1. The dumbest thing I bought in 2020 was a planner.
2. I was so bored I called Jake from State Farm just to talk to someone. He asked me what I was wearing.
3. 2019: Stay away from negative people. 2020: Stay away from positive people.
4. The world has turned upside down. Old folks are sneaking out of the house and their kids are yelling at them to stay home!
5. This morning I saw a neighbor talking to her dog. It was obvious she thought her dog understood her. I came into my house and told my cat. We laughed a lot.
6. Every few days try your jeans on just to make sure they fit. Pajamas will have you believe all is well in the kingdom.
7. Does anyone know if we can take showers yet or should we just keep washing our hands?
8. This virus has done what no woman has been able to do. Cancel sports, shut down all bars and keep men at home!
9. I never thought the comment, “I wouldn’t touch him/her with a 6-foot pole” would become a national policy, but here we are!
10. I need to practice social-distancing from the refrigerator.
11. I hope the weather is good tomorrow for my trip to the backyard. I’m getting tired of the living room.
12. Never in a million years could I have imagined I would go up to a bank teller wearing a mask and ask for money.
13. Not sure if my body absorbed all the hand sanitizer but I have noticed that the toilet seems like it cleans itself after I pee.

CornerTable has three privacy settings so when posting, one of the following can be used:
Me=Obviously for self
Everyone=Public Post
and of course for friends only.
To keep postings to friends only, make sure the initial post is set to *Friends only* and the future posts will default to it.
Meantime , anything posted will by default public.
Eventually, people will come to this site who we don't like particularly much. We're all getting along now, but there is no reason to think it would stay that way, just as if you were on another social site you would not expect that. Please note, that we have some tools for blocking individuals as well. Rather than complain to site admins, use these tools.
Also, consider 'friending' only people you want to be actual friends, and limit the privacy of your profile posts to just those people, and keep your public facing content in a group, a page, or forum post.
V Clark -- Thanks for repeatedly encouraging me to come to Cornertable. I'm here. :-)
Here is a tip: The "News Feed" has a drop down arrow. It will let you choose between viewing only those people/pages/groups that you follow or ALL public-facing posts. Remember to set your privacy settings per post. Private group posts won't display in the SHOW ALL posts feed, but public groups will have their posts displayed. I will probably prevent that at my first available opportunity, but I'm not there yet.
