State Reps. Sign Proclamation to Defend Texans’ Medical Freedom
Texans for Vaccine Choice and its supporters asked elected officials to state if they’re for or against Texans’ individual rights.
By Robert Montoya January 13, 2021

State Rep. Steve Toth (R–The Woodlands) is the latest to join a number of representatives who have signed a pledge to stop the government from mandating medical actions and retaliating against citizens who exercise freedom of choice.

In a prior interview, Texans for Vaccine Choice outlined the potential threats facing Texans’ medical freedom in the age of the Chinese coronavirus and the resulting government mandates.

As part of the political action committee’s fight to defend individual medical freedom, TFVC unveiled its Proclamation to Support Texans’ Right to Their Livelihood, which outlines the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 vaccines, the importance of Texans’ liberty and livelihoods, and how Texans’ freedoms are under threat like never before.

The proclamation ends by stating Texans “do stand against” all government mandates of medical procedures and “any retaliation against, discrimination against, or removal of any rights against any citizen” who exercises their freedom of choice to not participate.

On Tuesday, Toth became the fifth member of the Texas House to sign the proclamation, and citizens praised him for it.

“Thank you for protecting the rights to our bodies,” wrote Aundria Field on Facebook.

“We will remember this bold statement,” Sara Bobarah also commented. “Thank you, sir!”

Toth joins State Reps. Kyle Biedermann (R–Fredericksburg), James White (R–Hillister), and newcomers Jeff Cason (R) and Bryan Slaton (R), who signed the proclamation last month.

The Texas House has 150 elected members, while the Texas Senate has 31.

TFVC encourages citizens to contact their state representative and state senator and ask them to sign the proclamation. Citizens may do so by going to TFVC’s website.

Hugelkulture Bed 2 - After the first bed worked so well, I made another one beside it. This time I placed the t-posts in first, then dug on either side of them, about 1 1/2' deep. I found with the first one that the t-posts didn't have anything to steady them with when it first made. So this one has held up much better. I planted 1/2 watermelon and 1/2 cantaloupe on this one the first time so I really didn't need the climbing fence. But then I planted peas etc. so the fence was utilized. I just need my beds to be able to function for whatever plant I choose. I have just finished a new bed 3 where I paid a guy to bring machinery to dig the trench 2' deep and 3' wide. I had LOTS of branches from my neighbor's trimming a few weeks ago and it is mounded up nicely. When I get a chance I'll post that picture.
