Since April, I've been on CornerTable, so I've had a chance to play around with the different settings and features of CornerTable.
To make a page or group on CornerTable, it's similar to FB and doesn't take many steps.

Wow! A terms of use and privacy policy that are clear enough to actually be read easily and make sense!

Invite your friends, family, groups, hobbies, etc to contribute to the content.
CornerTable like any social media is only a platform.
They don't provide the content, but they do provide the space.
Make CornerTable what you want it to be by creating the groups, the pages, and inviting the people.
Join a group or page. Invite friends and family. We are a platform. We make it possible for you to have a good experience, but we cannot create the experience for you. We are not a billion dollar operation, but we do have FREEDOM. Use it!

A great reminder about CT
The format is like FB so if you don't want people to see your private posts, make sure the setting is on "Friends Only"
Reminder: the news feed has a drop down arrow. You can choose to see ALL public posts, or only the posts by people/groups/pages you 'follow.' Conversely, to keep your posts OUT of the public posts, set your profile comments to 'friends only' and post in private groups. (Pages can choose whether or not their posts are visible to everyone or just page folowers.)

TIP: As this platform only has 3 visibility settings
(Everyone, Friends, Only Me)
if you want to interact with people without laying bare your whole life,
try creating a page, group, or topic in the forum.
GROUPS can be set to private/invite only.
Don't forget to change the privacy settings on your posts
if you don't want everyone to see them!
