Re: App upgrade, will it correct the notification issue? I haven't been able to get the notifications on the app to push through.

Ok, a little more research suggests that the problem might be group/page notifications that people are not getting. It appears that if you are the group/page owner or admin, you will get notifications, otherwise, I'm thinking you don't. You will just get notifications on replies to your timeline comments. This appears to be another thing to add to the developer list.

Ok folks, the server upgrade seems to have been perfect and I also think things are improved. It is time to get cracking on promoting this platform. I've already tapped out my contacts. This site will only grow with YOUR help. Spread the word, give personal invites, etc. With parler still down and FB repugnant, this is our golden moment. The average Christian in the pew is not reading books by Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, but their neighbors and coworkers are.

I think congregations are putting pressure on churches to equip them better, educate them more and give them opportunities to grow in this area.

Churches that have relied in the past on a lifestyle evangelistic approach that lacks intentionality need to be a little more intentional in reaching people and bringing answers to their questions.

I’m all for lifestyle evangelism, but I’m also in favor of intentionality, where we seek out opportunities for spiritual conversations and are equipped to explain the gospel and why we believe it. —Lee Strobel
