This (former) mayor of Colorado City, Tx is on point. Broadly speaking we have been conditioned to blame someone else when things get hard. Then we take great pride in sitting back waiting for someone to fix our problem and take care of us instead of getting our act together & taking care of ourself. If we would stop whining and do something we could become great again!
