Why are your kids still in secular, godless government school?

I have to wonder yet again...
If the salaries of Governors and state & county health officials were reduced over the last year by a factor corresponding to the reduced revenues to small business, how many tyrannical "measures" would have been imposed?
I'm confident the accurate answer is "Almost none."
I almost vomited watching a video of CNN hosts fawning all over its propagandist, Sanjay Gupta, for things he said a year ago about the emerging outbreak. According to CNN's fawning hosts, Propagandist Gupta's remarks were "so prescient".
The Propagandist's remarks that were "so prescient" were things such as; you may feel stressed at work, you may have to forgo some hobbies you enjoy, you may feel it's better to catch up with a family member by phone rather than in person, schools may close, some people may need to be quarantined, you may have to put off a vacation, etc.
To be clear, Propagandist Gupta's "prescient" list could have been put together by any junior high school kid after 3 mins on the Internet. It is all standard bill-of-fair for any contagious outbreak, and has been for decades.
Talk about self-congratulatory bullshit!
Still looking for feedback on this.
Presently, we have no integrations with big tech, save Google's adult image scanner (which deletes them automatically). I have the option of activating Google Maps, which I believe would enable more location-based features than we have now. (Without activating it, I can't be absolutely sure what it will do.) Should I enable it or no? Answer my poll question. Discussion welcome.
I have been thinking very hard about what to do in the face of a currency collapse. Many preparations have already been made. I am curious to know what folks might be thinking for using as barter. Ammo is out--I may need it myself. I'd rather not use precious metals. I am trying to think of things that people will value because they may be hard to find but desirable: cigars, vanilla, maple syrup, salt. I can make my own syrup and grow my own tobacco. There are other goods which I could grow and trade with, such as garlic, which can be preserved for a long time if done right.
Thoughts? Ideas? Etc.
