Thought for Monday, 08/30:
"Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success." ~ Brian Adams
Jerusalem. Few cities have God's attention as much as this one. And, in the end, God will restore Jerusalem. Zephaniah says so.
c3v14 - "Sing, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
and c3v17 - "The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Jerusalem's history is replete with failure, repentance and more failure and repentance. Take heart - others have failed and been restored! Are you ready for what God will do?
