1648217700Well, yeah. I’m sure the Russians are keeping their big stuff out of Ukraine. I’m not a military strategist, but that appears to be the way conventional wars are fought, at least when expansionism (blitzkrieg) is no longer veiled. I’m not sure that tells us much except, maybe, that they’re saving the big stuff for bigger opponents should they intervene.

1648224340From the beginning, I kept hearing about conscripts doing this and conscripts doing that. It seemed like their regular army was few and far between. I remember how conscripts were used in previous wars... they were sent ahead to catch the bullets before anyone else. I find it further interesting that they have barely touched Kiev. I don't agree with this guys theory. I think that Putin wants Kiev intact, for himself. But I am inclined to think that it was a mistake not to focus completely on Kiev from the beginning. The rest would have been mop up.

I was a work-a-holic for years. The outcome? I am not rich and there are moments I missed with my family. How does the current world encourage you to take time with your loved ones? What will you do to improve your understanding of how important your loved ones are to you?
