We are a Bible believing evangelical Christian church, an Open Plymouth Brethren assembly (Christian Brethren). All leadership is volunteer, enabling the majority of our giving to go to evangelists and missionaries worldwide. There are opportunities to serve for those interested in participating, including outreach, hospitality, and music.

About a month ago I mocked Australia for its Orwellian app. A former friend who resides in Australia called me a bad word and said that I was exaggerating again, because the app was voluntary. Not to my face, but through a mutual friend, who shared the response with me. But if I was in direct communication, I would have pointed out the obvious, that it would not be voluntary for long!
