Ezekiel, son of man as God calls him, writes as God directs:
Chapter 18, verse 4:
"4 Behold, all souls are mine, both the soul of the father, and also the soul of the son are mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."
And Ezekiel writes of the father who does not sin and the son who does and says:
Chapter 18, verse 13b:
"...seeing he hath done all these abominations, he shall die the death, and his blood shall be upon him."
And the son's son?
Chapter 18, verse 17c:
"...[he] hath executed my judgments, and hath walked in my statutes, he shall not die in the iniquity of his father, but he shall surely live."
Each of us has a personal relationship with God the Father, through Jesus, the Son of God, the Christ, in the power of God the Holy Spirit.
Romans 4:12 - "And the father of circumcision, not unto them only which are of the circumcision, but unto them also that walk in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham which he had when he was uncircumcised."
Walk this way.
