Sounds a lot like the Benedict Option proposed by Drehr. While understandable, it can be as non-beneficial at the same time. I worried by trying to isolate too much, it adopts the same issue the "other side" has in creating echo chambers, but also as Christians, while we are not to conformed to the world, we are also told to go out in the world, to share the Gospel, minister to the sick and lost. The sick being those who are so far off God's design.

It goes back to Jesus saying the church was not meant for the healthy who knew God and knew better, but for the sick who did not or were ailed by the troubles of the world.

I also had issues with Gab refusing to be "interview by pagan sources"; That's all and great, but again, creates an echo chamber and becomes a bubble in itself and we are seeing the ramifications of this echoing in the Christian world.

There needs to be a healthy medium between both.
