it supports my musing a few months ago that the pandemic would be seen as an opportunity to take some of the more costly people out of the system. This was a win-win for Dem states that are deeply in debt. They keep the hospitals open for younger, more healthy people, and eliminate the sick and old who have (unfortunately) lived longer thanks to our relatively good medical care, but who are now just a burden.
