Taking a look at Joe Biden's gun plan, which asserts:

"Biden will: Hold gun manufacturers accountable. In 2005, then-Senator Biden voted against the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, but gun manufacturers successfully lobbied Congress to secure its passage. This law protects these manufacturers from being held civilly liable for their products – a protection granted to no other industry."

Which isn't true. That protection exists for vaccine makers. And, per section 230, it exists for Big Tech. I would be willing to bet we'd find other such protections, probably quite a few in the progressive stable. These are just the 2 that came to my mind.
