I am new here. Coming from Facebook where I have several groups with many thousands of followers. How do you grow your groups here? Also, I am wondering why this header image comes up on everything.? One might think, if you have a group, your header image should come up. What if I am posting on Facebook, MeWe, and Parler to get people here and this image is not reflective of what my group is.

Its a fair question but it has to do with what the external sites can see. Your group is visible only to registered and logged in visitors. If you send someone a link to it and they are not registered and logged in, they will be taken to the home page. And that is what happens when other sites try to pull the page, since they cannot get past the login they pull from the only page they can access, which is the home page.

I think, but do not know for sure, that this could be changed eventually. There will never be a time when we let people browse the site's contents without being logged in. And therein lies the dilemma. If you let Facebook access a page in order to pull the image, I'm pretty sure that also lets them see the content. I could never tolerate that.

So, this may be doable, but its going to take some clever coding, outside of my skillset.
