personally, I believe that the leftists crafted this whole 'climate change' nonsense in part so they could horn in on the money they've seen then Oil Men making. They wanted a piece of that action and it had some other benefits: they could use the coercive power of the government (leftists LOVE that) to advance their cause, they could CAST it as a cause (this makes them feel important, like they are doing something important, rather than what they are really doing, engorging themselves like giant ticks on an unwilling host), and THEY get to make the money instead of this greedy capitalist Oil Men.
