This has been my experience, too. And honestly, they tend to lie in different ways. The GOP says it will do something, but won't. The Dems say they won't do something, but they do. Don Bongino has a good way of putting this. Something about how the GOP can't solve all our problems, but the Dems are the cause of all our problems. Something like that.
