So, in other news, we have the near-universal polling that led credence to the view that a genuine 'red wave' was coming, especially as it got closer to the election. Either... there was still rampant cheating... totally plausible... or, we now need to officially kiss off polling altogether as completely useless.
To be fair, when you looked close at polls, eg, at RCP, the margins of victory for the GOP were not usually that great. The 'Wave' was anticipated because of the large quantity that showed GOP candidates with (slim) victory margins. However, here in WI, the Repub was favored to win by polls, and still lost. (Allegedly.)
Still, polling has been on the ropes for a long time. I think we just have to conclude now that they are meaningless.
