And for the record, I believed both then and now that Romney was wrong. Obama was wrong too. China is the world's greatest threat. Global pandemic, anyone? Of course, to say that China is the world's greatest threat is not to deny that Iran is a threat, or North Korea, or yes, Russia. China wants world domination. Russia merely the return of the Russia of Peter the Great.

That's for the record, but my point is how the liberal left mocked and derided Romney. I think he was wrong, but it was sorta defensible. We remember well, too, Hillary and her great 'Russia Reset' button. There actually WAS an opportunity to bring Russia into a position of relative stability and neutrality. At the very least, preventing an alliance between Russia and China from forming was attainable, and was within our reach.

And then.... the asshats decided for their own personal political advancement to make Russia into a bogeyman in a scorched earth effort to ruin Trump. The consequence of this was to drive Russia further away from coming to terms with the West and into the waiting arms of the Chinese Communists.

I blame the Left for all that is happening in Ukraine right now. I hold liberal progressives personally responsible for every death that has occurred and will happen there. They did this. It is on them.

Add to them the bodies of the Taiwanese, who will soon join them.

Let's not forget that Putin asked to join NATO at least once and was rebuffed.
