About a month ago I mocked Australia for its Orwellian app. A former friend who resides in Australia called me a bad word and said that I was exaggerating again, because the app was voluntary. Not to my face, but through a mutual friend, who shared the response with me. But if I was in direct communication, I would have pointed out the obvious, that it would not be voluntary for long! What a bunch of tools. (I mean the idiots who think these measures will be voluntary and defend them as such, only to have them made compulsory--which anyone with half a brain knew was the intention all along.)
