The exaltation of reason alone is worship of the human intellect.
The absolute is not reason, but God.
God’s existence makes possible truth and human reason; if the brain is merely the end product of mindless unguided process then there is no reason to believe in it’s capacity to tell us the truth.
God is; irrespective of what or how much we understand.
