Hosea. That name just doesn't roll off the tongue. Yet Hosea served God as a prophet through at least 5 kings in Judah and Israel. When you read the book you discover what God asked Hosea to say and do. God was not pleased with Israel - and He showed it -
Hosea 4:6-8
"6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast refused knowledge, I will also refuse thee that thou shalt be no Priest to me: and seeing thou hast forgotten the Law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
8 They eat up the sins of my people, and lift up their minds in their iniquity."
Salvation comes from the Lord. Revelation 7:10:
"And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation cometh of our God, that sitteth upon the throne, and of the Lamb."
Get knowledge of God. Read what He wrote to all people. Pray. Do. Pray. Do. Pray. Do. Keep on praying and doing.
