I just read through the 6-page settlement (permanent injunction) regarding plandemic restrictions on churches in California. This settlement prohibits the government from declaring a restriction on churches in California UNLESS the same restriction also applies to every other entity in California.

Now, all churches in California can remain open without capacity limits, without mask requirement, and without a singing ban. We ought to celebrate this victory and give thanks to our God.

Indeed, it’s not a small feat.

A huge shout out to churches, Liberty Council, Pacific Justice Institute, and Thomas More Society for defending house of worship in court!

If next Sunday, suddenly our churches are filled with people without masks, it’s a tangible reminder that we have given our government too much power to decide what kind of life we can live. In reality, the statistics and numbers have not changed, the only thing that has made the difference is that, in addition to fervent prayers, a small number of churches and Christian legal organizations were willing to stand up and take the heat and fight on our behalf.

Further, we must not believe that we can depend on the mercy of our government. Have you noticed that our liberation is qualified by a conditional clause – UNLESS the same restriction applies to everyone else?

This means that our government can still find other ways to shut down churches. If we let our government go beyond our constitutional rights, they can, at any moment, create a new crisis and use it as an excuse to shut the whole society down in order to shut churches down.

Do you think they have any concern about small businesses?

Do you think they care about ordinary people’s suffering? They have big corporations and tech giants behind them. They’ve got the power and are able to do whatever they want IF we let them.

Consequently, while celebrating this win, we mustn’t be complacent.

We must gird our loins and get ready for the next fight. It will be bigger and more vicious. This is a spiritual battle from the onset.

If the Enemy takes time to retreat, he will come back with a more brutal assault.
