Investing in the future

I do not want to seem like a pessimist, but we lost our Republic long ago. We are now ruled by oligarchs that create laws for us and exclude themselves from those very laws. They have their own retirement plan, their own banking, their own healthcare, all far better than anything us mere plebes have access to. Their salary, the perks, the retirement, is all far beyond what most normal citizens have access to through the private sector. These same political rulers do shady foreign deals that put our national security at risk just to enrich themselves and their families. Most do not serve for their constituents, but for their own gain.

This is far removed from what the founding fathers envisioned in the citizen senators. They never envisioned a ruling class, but regular citizens that would leave their farms and businesses for two years to serve in government, to then return home and continue their lives. What we now have are people that have enriched themselves for forty or fifty years, becoming millionaires at the people's expense, ruling over us and ignoring our will to impose theirs. They are professional politicians, and with few exceptions, despise the very people they should be serving. The haughtiness and pride are hard to miss; they call us deplorables, sneer at our belief in God and in the Bible, plan nefarious and intricate operations to discredit gun owners and militias, and to impose unconstitutional limits on our right to defend ourselves from them. They plot and scheme and kill without hesitation to push forward their narrative, to increase their wealth, to enlarge their power.

We are at a turning point in the future of our country. Once again the same decisions that faced our founding fathers loom before us. Do we submit to those that would rule over us, or do we have the will to fight to have freedom of the people, by the people, and for the people? Will we submit to imperial masters that have no compassion, no remorse, no compunction at taking everything, even our very lives, or do we impose on our government limits and safeguards so that we will never again have to bow down to ungodly kings?

God has graced us with the most free country in the world. If we can take it back from the evil godless Communists that now rule, restore the freedoms of the constitution, and once again put limits on our government, we will know a time of prosperity and peace like the world has never seen. If we as a country continue to lounge in front of our televisions, being brainwashed by the mockingbird media and entertaining ourselves into apathy, I fear that there is coming a time of trial and tribulation of Biblical proportions.

We as a country must decide if we love God above all else, if we as a people will submit to God and His laws, or if we would rather submit to evil men and their laws. We are in a spiritual battle, the battle lines have been drawn, and this battle will determine the future we face, and the future we leave for our children after us. There is no room for lies, for theft, for greed, for killing babies, abusing children, for any evil before a Holy God, and there should not be a place for it before his Holy People either. We the people, those that claim to know God and to want to make Him known, must first repent of and turn away from our own sin, humble ourselves before a God of Righteousness, and then He will heal our land. If we, His people, will do that, there will come a time of Awakening like the world has never seen.

Which future do you choose to invest in?

"In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love; they had five hundred years of democracy and peace and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock." ~ Orson Welles ("The Third Man"
