If you haven't checked out CornerTable's "How To", I highly recommend liking and following the page.

It offers great tips on using CornerTable (which works a lot as Facebook does) and works as a frequently ask question page.

There's also the "Features and Request" page on CornerTable where the developers want to hear from us and what we would like to see added to CornerTable.

Apparently "puppies" is not a possible features request, but I tried.

To find this and other pages on CornerTable, if you're on the desktop, on the left, select "My Pages" and suggested pages will show ALL the available pages on CornerTable.

Friendly publish settings reminder.

Publishing content on CT has the same settings as FB.

Anything posted on your status with the setting "Everyone" will show up on the newsfeed for friends and strangers to see.

To make the post default for "Friends" only, before hitting share make sure the setting is what you want it to be.

The principle is the same here and your info is yours and you decide who has access to it.

Great reminder regarding CornerTable privacy settings.
Posting on your wall works the same way it did on the other platform.

If your post is set to "Everyone", whatever you post on your wall, is public and will show up on the newsfeed.

Keep your profile wall posts set to "Friends" and only the people you have friended on CornerTable can see your profile wall.

The publishing principle for CT is like on FB.

You control who sees what you published.

Any publish posts set on "Everyone" will show up on the public newsfeed for anyone and their mother to see.

So make sure to double-check those settings if you are posting anything you only want your friends to see .

And if you don't want to see the public newsfeed, it's an easy switch to only see the people, pages and groups you're a part of to show up in the newsfeed.

Remember:
Once you set your post to 'friends' only, only your friends will see your posts on your wall after that by default.

What seems to happen is that whatever privacy your last post was, your next post will default to.

So, if you only post so that 'friends' can see the post, and never deviate, your posts won't ever be public.

TIP: As this platform only has 3 visibility settings
(Everyone, Friends, Only Me)
if you want to interact with people without laying bare your whole life,
try creating a page, group, or topic in the forum.
GROUPS can be set to private/invite only.
Don't forget to change the privacy settings on your posts
if you don't want everyone to see them!
