Why are economists doing this study and what is their standing in this type of research? Did they account for the various states that specifically did not ask people receiving COVID tests if they had been part of protest activity?

(Not expecting answers from you, Ajit. I read the paper and didn't really see these questions addressed. Just throwing them out there for consideration.)
