The Sutton Hoo Helmet is one of the most important Anglo-Saxon finds of all time. When found, the helmet from the Anglo-Saxon grave at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk, was in hundreds of pieces. The burial chamber had collapsed and reduced the helmet to a pile of fragments.
Late 6th-early 7th century AD.
