One of the newest episodes of Moe Factz with Adam Curry. Traces the origins of the Civil Rights movement in the US. Very different from what I learned in school. The movement began in the 1920s and 30s among Black sharecroppers in the southern states sending people to Russia to be trained as Marxist organizers. When they returned to the US, they were to use the Black rights movement to destabilize the country. While this sounds far out, the episode contains an interview given by one of these organizers who later left the Communist Party when he realized the communists just wanted to use Blacks as cannon fodder.
