A great question was asked and I did my best to help, but is there a default setting to keep posts on "Private" or "For Friends only"?

Currently, the default is "everyone".

My experience has been once you make a posting with a certain privacy level, it becomes the default setting for future posts. I made a few "for me only" posts just so I could edit things before changing the privacy level, and that seems to have become my new default setting.

TIP: As this platform only has 3 visibility settings
(Everyone, Friends, Only Me)
if you want to interact with people without laying bare your whole life,
try creating a page, group, or topic in the forum.
GROUPS can be set to private/invite only.
Don't forget to change the privacy settings on your posts
if you don't want everyone to see them!
