my impression is that russia is doing just fine when it comes to the sanctions. it all looks and smells like one giant scam. we should have stayed out of this. It is hard not to see our support of ukraine as constituting a declaration of war on russia on our part. the fact that russia hasn't already started shooting at us is a near miracle (but wise on putin's part) and if russia ever DID begin suffering from our actions, mortally, it would start doing so--justifiably. Ukraine is not worth the US being in a hot war, imo, and I think 75% or so of Americans agree with that. But we are getting away with our interference so far so fool ourselves into thinking we are not in a hyper-aggressive posture already. We ourselves have bombed people/countries for less.
