China attempts to censor a French history museum's exhibit about Genghis Khan and the Mongolian Empire. The French museum was partnering with a Chinese museum for this project and, I believe, there may have been some Chinese funding as well. China wants to erase/modify Genghis Khan's story because it goes against the official narrative of the "Middle Kingdom" being the polity around which the world revolves.
