So, I feel like like I'm in some sort of horrible prank. I spent the most of last month in the hospital due to a severe Covid infection that caused pneumonia and almost killed me. Then when I come to and turn on the news I'm greeted with Afghanistan being overtaken by the terrorists again? What the hell did my service stand for? So not only am I coping with the trauma of almost leaving my wife widowed and son fatherless, but the repressed memories from the past come flooding back like water through a broken dam, pisses me off. I can't be the only one.
