I've had two friends try to move over from FB and join and this has happened: "It won't accept a user name for me"

They've tried both phone and computer.

Not sure what that means that it won't accept a user name. Can I have their names so I can see if they are already registered? That's the only thing I can think of... if someone is already registered it won't let you do so under an identical name.
