Updates from yesterday seem to have caused no problems. We are initiating the development of group notifications today. Once working correctly, we will then also update the notification page in your user settings so you can enable/disable per your preferences.

The group notifications have been working all day via the app.
I found I had to uninstall the app and reinstall the app and after that it's been great getting notifications.
