"No" means the opposite of "yes." Or sometimes, it means the opposite of "okay." And it can also serve as an abbreviated version of, "No, I won't." Below are some examples to help illustrate the meaning and proper usage of the word.

"You have to wear a mask." "No."
"It's a requirement that everybody has to wear a mask." "No."
